Maple Pecan Truffles

Maple Pecan Truffles are a great way to curb your appetite for sweets while breaking the addiction. These Maple Pecan Truffles are so decedent and rich you wont believe these are good for you! Full of good fats and fiber to keep you fueled and moving. If you are trying to be in ketosis, they do have a wee bit or maple syrup, so check your ketones the next day after eating one of these just to make sure they don’t throw you out of ketosis. If they do, just omit the maple syrup and viola! I also like to eat a fat bomb before going out to eat or over to a friends house to eat. They help keep me on track with my good fat intake and steer me away from bad decisions because I am hungry. I call it “pre gaming”, lol!

Maple Pecan Truffles

ingredients

*this makes 3 1 inch balls

1 Tbls ghee or coconut oil

1 Tbls raw cashew butter (I LOVE Artisana because its the seriously the best!)

1 Tbls coconut cream (I just scoop the cream off the top of a can of full fat coconut milk)

Splash vanilla (no alcohol please)

Pinch Himalayan pink salt

1/2 tsp chia seeds

1/2 tsp flax flour

1 tsp maple syrup

Shake of cinnamon

Crushed pecans (to roll the balls in)

How To

Mix all ingredients, except pecans, together in a small bowl until creamy. Place in fridge until hard enough to shape into a ball. I usually get impatient and place in freezer, just dont forget about it!

Remove and shape into balls, roll in crushed pecans to coat. Store in fridge. Or store in freezer and pull out 15 mins before eating.

TIP you can add some collagen powder if you like!

ENJOY!!
