Power Packs

Power Packs

I started making these frozen little gems of goodness when some of my fresh veg started to go wilty before I was going to get to it. Now I am completely addicted to having them in my smoothies everyday. Sometimes I buy stuff just to make them.

So once a wee or so I go through my fridge and take all the leftover:

Greens

Cilantro

Parsley

Lemons-I use a lot of lemon and add it whole, rind and all

Cucumber,

Beets

Celery

I through them all into my Ninja with kombucha and make into a thick put pourable consistency

Pour into ice cube trays and freeze

Once frozen, I pop out and store in a container in my freezer

I add1-2 in my smoothie every morning

You can get completely creative here, just remember to make them power packed!

I absolutely love your site! You don’t know how much I have waisted with throwing out all my organic veggies that wilted or rotted. I never thought about doing this….I juice though so I think I will juice, then freeze them! Im glad I found you on facebook:) I’ll def. be returning for more good ideas….
