WOW! Fall is Here!!

Holy cow, Fall is upon us guys! I can not believe Sept went so fast and the first day of Oct is tomorrow!!

Let me just start by saying, I LOVE FALL! My favorite season all around!

Sept is traditionally a very busy month for our family in general with zoodles of birthdays to celebrate, lots of work for Be Well Company, and then throw in hurricane evacuation and whew, looking forward to things slowing down a bit in Oct.

With a change of season, it always brings me to reflect on how far I have come, my accomplishments, downfalls and where I want to go. Looking backward will only keep you rooted in the past, so take the time to reflect then focus looking forward. That’s always my goal.

My Sept was busy as usual along with a VERY trying emotional time with some past business I had to tie up. It was absolutely draining on me and I had to take every ounce of selfcare I could get to stay healthy. Thank God there has been a final resolution to this very emotional matter and I now can move forward with all the things in my life that are my absolute passion!

Thank goodness for my all natural skincare line that literally saved me by making me slow down and enjoy the whole process of cleansing my skin, detoxing and nourishing my skin. Just taking that time for me, to care for me, and feel beautiful is such a gift to my health and wellness.

Thank you all for your patience this past month, as I have not been posting as many recipes or sharing as much on my social pages. Sometimes we all need to take a step back and say, me first right now. To be honest, I always feel guilty about this to some degree. See, I have created such a beautiful community that when I do not post, I tend to get a lot of emails asking where I am and when is the next recipe coming. While this is so awesome in one respect, I also put a lot of pressure on myself to do more, which of course causes stress. Annnnd, you know what stress does to our health.

So when is enough enough?

Feeling like I am not doing enough is a constant battle I have with myself. Somedays I can deal with this really well and in a healthy way. Other days, I get the grumpies and have to  work through that too. It can be a challenge to get in alllllll the things I want to do in day, still put my health and family first. You know what I am talking about.

Anyway, I am back! Feeling almost recharged and ready for this new Fall season and the warm coziness it brings. While my boys are off working and training for deployment in the Army, I know my emotions will be all over the place come early 2019. So now, I focus on the present. What is happening today. How can I take care of myself today. How can I help others today. Where do I want to be now, next month, next year…..just simply living in the now and looking forward:)

Note to self: enough is enough when I say so.

Looking Forward

I also have laid out some new ideas that will be added to my site for yall! There will be a Fast Food section that will focus on quick meal ideas that require zero to little cooking. I also will be sharing some more Small Plate ideas, as these have become absolute favorites of mine. I have a few more Jar Meals that will be sprinkled in and hopefully, some new fall recipes will be developed! So, I have big plans, now to make the time.

As always you can follow me on my IG page @_realfoodjunkie where I post many of my daily meals and share in the stories!

I shall leave you with this thought, Selfcare Matters!!

Happy Fall!

Love & Be Well,

Natalie
