Fall is coming and I had a can of opened pumpkin I was experimenting with, so why not a new smoothie recipe since I drink one every single day of my life. Paired with coconut this recipe takes my tastes buds in a whole new direction than my regular smoothie.
Pumpkin Coconut Smoothie
3/4 – 1 cup organic frozen tart cheeries
1 cup packed organic baby spinach
1/2 cup organic pumpkin puree
1/2 cup organic full fat coconut milk
1/4 cup organic dried coconut
5 ice cubes
1/3 cup Numi orange tea
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (more if you like)
I use a Ninja and blend all until smooth. You will have bits of coconut which I like. Note – I make the Numi hot tea and cool down before adding to the smoothie.
