So the Chinese Hot Mustard recipe came about the other night when I was trying to make a healthy egg roll. Although the egg roll didnt turn out so pretty, my fried rice was bomb and this Chinese Hot Mustard is the perfect addition. I love this sauce so much, I am sure you could catch me with my finger in the bowl if its in my house!
Chinese Hot Mustard
5 tsps Dry Mustard
1 Tbls Mayo
2 tsps Umi Plum Vinegar
1 tsp Coconut Vinegar
3 tsp Water
Add your mustard and water into a bowl and mix well. Next add you mayo and mix well. Last add the rest of the ingredients. Taste test. If you like it hotter, add more mustard. If its too hot, add a wee bit more water.
I think this could be enjoyed as a dressing on hearty greens or maybe make a slaw out of it, YUM! Drizzle on an uncured hot dog wrap. Now we are talking:)
Stores in the fridge nicely for about a week. I wouldn’t keep longer than that because of the natural preservative free mayo.
