Cherry Braised Short Ribs
Making Cherry Braised Short Ribs sounds hard but I promise you it’s easy peasy! Cool thing is, I usually have most of these ingredients on hand any given day.
Ingredients:
Short Ribs
Frozen Cherries
Onion
Celery
Garlic
H2O or Beef Broth
Balsamic Vinegar
Fresh Rosemary
S&P
You can make this in a crock pot on low for 8-10 hrs or in a dutch oven slow roasted @225 degrees covered for 8 hrs.
I don’t even thaw my ribs, I throw them in the pot first.
In a small saucepan I add my cherries and 1/4-1/2 cup vinegar and heat to smash the cherries a bit, then I throw in the rosemary.
Pile all ingredients in your crock or pan and cover with broth or water, or a combo of both.
They are fall off the bone delicious.
Here is how I like to serve them – with fresh greens and asparagus with roasted cauliflower and a side of spicy kimchi.
Ribs are greasy so I like how the kimchi cuts right through that in your mouth.
