This is the Best Dairy Free Clam Chowder Recipe with Bacon! I created it to be dairy free and paleo friendly. You are going to want to make a big pot of this as your friends and family will chow this down so fast. The bacon is the cherry on top along with the splash of red wine vinegar, so make sure you have them.

Ingredients

3 celery ribs sliced

1 large carrot diced

1/2 red onion diced

2 medium cloves garlic chopped

1 celery root diced

2 Tbls ghee

1/2 Lemon Juiced

1 can (5oz) wild caught clams in water

Chicken Bone Broth

1 can full fat Coconut Milk

S&P

Red Wine Vinegar

Uncured Bacon (sugar free, nitrate & nitrite free)

 

How To Make

Saute first 6 ingredients in a soup pot just until fragrant and tender, I also season with S&P here. Then pour the clam juice in pot, lemon juice and bone broth in until ingredients are completely immersed. Season with S&P. Cover and simmer for 15 mins. Now cook your bacon until crispy, set aside. Last add the clams and coconut milk, cover and heat until just heated through.

When serving add a splash of red wine vinegar to each bowl along with a few pieces of bacon. ENJOY!
